I'd like to write freelance, make some supplementary income, but I suppose you could live off what you earn from writing, if you do work for people that pay well, and if you do enough. I don't know how to get into it, though. You probably need to have an area of expertise - a depth of knowledge of something, which I don't have; also, you've probably got to have connections and all, and you'd probably need to show employers work in order to get a job - like to a portfolio. But I've never written anything, so I better start writing stuff. It could be easier than I think it is to write freelance, or it could be difficult, and I suspect it is.
